I thing it's really important to wear my babies as much as possible for as long as possible. Squeak is learning this important part of parenting from an early age. She likes to wear "Mo" because she sees me wearing Pip. What a gal!
I have all kinds of babywearing accessories--front packs, backpacks, mei tai, sling, hiking backpack--but I'm mainly posting this to enter a contest for MORE babywearing accessories. You can enter too! Here's the link: Win the Essential Babywearing Stash from Along for the Ride (one Beco Butterfly, one Hotsling baby pouch, one BabyHawk Mei Tai, one Zolowear Ring Sling, and one Gypsy Mama Wrap)

I like the sling you are posing with, tiger and all!
I bought, at a huge expense, a hotsling for Addison but ended up returning it. She didn't seem to lay properly in it no matter how i positioned her, even following the directions and with help from the "specialist" at the baby boutique. So after much trying and wanting and after one scary experience in which she almost fell out of it I returned it. I had read a lot about them and tried several at the store so I was really disappointed that it didn't work out for us. Maybe now that she's older and can hold her head up on her own I ought to try one again in a different position, like the way you are wearing Pip.
It is nice to have your baby so close to your heart especially since they are only small enough to haul around for so long.
That's cute how Squeak wears Mo too. Michael's favorite way to imitate motherhood is to breast feed her baby dolls. It's cute but I like that she's learning too!
I had a hard time with a wee one in my hotsling too--but he started to sit better after about a month. There are so many different ways to wear your baby-I like my mei tei a lot. I still use my hotsling at the store because it's a little faster for me to put on, but the mei tei is a lot more comfortable for long periods of time. T, you look adorable! I think I'll see who won!

I love it when the little ones mimic their parents. My favorite moments were still when the girls were figuring out nursing. Their dolls got lessons as I would nurse the baby.=)
