Wow, LOOK at that!
Fresh basil, tomatoes, zucchini, and broccoli with sauteed mushrooms and sundried tomatoes and homemade olives.
It really made me smile!

A flower of chips with an exotic dip for the breastfeeding first-time mama (see the boppy and Squeak's little ankle?)
Oh, how I LOVED this zucchini herb and cheese dish!

This was D's birthday pie (he prefers pie, so I always make him a birthday pie). This is one of my most beautiful and delicious pies ever. Four years ago, it wouldn't have occurred to me to create this. See how much I've seen the light?

This is true, that pie was amazing. Which reminds me, I really need to get that recipe from you (and the tweaks you added yourself to make it even better)
love it T! I too was born without the "presentation" gene even though I was in the in-law family. But as we both know, it can be taught! I'm glad. Can't wait to see you.
Beasta
Melinda, glad you liked the pie. Now I know who we can invite over when I make it again!
Beasta, all I can say is, "WHO made the mashed potatoes???" And I just can't believe that about you not possessing the "presentation" gene--the dumptruck cake and then the turkey cake were fabulous presentations!
that I got from a book he he he :-)
Tag you are it. You have been tagged twice from my site. Check my blog.
Wow! D's culinary skills have come a long way from our old pizza-making days (which was top-notch!)
