100th Post Announcements

So many things to announce! Here we go...

My friends, today, for the first time in almost 17 months, I didn't wear a nursing bra. Pip actually decided to wean himself about a week and a half ago, but with my stuff still in boxes, I couldn't find anything except what I've been wearing. Until today. Anyway, I'm grateful for a healthy body and (more than) ample milk production that has been able to nourish my baby for all this time.

Pip's eyes are not brown. Nor are they blue. They are a greenish grayish color--really cool!

Squeak just turned three. She is unbelievably smart, speaking in 10-20 word sentences regularly. D says, "If I had a brain like hers, med school would be a breeze." She is also incredibly talented. More about her talents later.

Little Squirt is starting to look more obvious. Squirt is our fetus. (S)he is swimming all over the place and very soon I'm going to have to give up my favorite sleeping position (on my back) for my less-preferred sleep position (on my side). Squirt is around 24 weeks old.

D is busy studying for boards again. He loves it!

I'm busy unpacking (sometimes) and trying to get out on regular runs (very SLOW runs) and taking an almost-daily nap.

I'm dying to announce something else but am not at liberty to announce it until who knows when... so you'll have to check back.

Congrats! That's wonderful. If you're in the market I love, love, love my triple Baby Jogger. I found a great deal through my local mothers of multiples club and of course ebay has them too. You're amazing.

Oh and Leah and I were doing the math tonight when we were out on a run. You were pregnant doing the half marathon run weren't you? You are a true iron woman or have pioneer grit or something:)

Thanks for all the congrats, everyone!

No multiples this time, Ash (but it is a possibility another time since twins are in the family).

Rebecca, we'd love to see you. We're living in the same place as before, near the temple.

Rich, I need to call you. Don't feel singled out--I haven't gotten in touch with anyone here yet.

And Erica, I had no idea either! Congrats to you!

Tessa, YES, I am interested in getting a triple--I hope I can find one! And it's true, I was pregnant for the half... and sick as a dog, as I'm sure everyone remembers! If I weren't so stubborn, I wouldn't have finished (that's my pioneer heritage, thanks, Grandma!!)

So glad we got together at mom's house when we were in state.
I enjoyed reading up on your blog... I swear you didn't have this many posts that i hadn't read, but I guess I was wrong.
Your children are beautiful, I can't wait to see what little squeak will look like.
As for placentas... I haven't got a clue what any of mine looked like! I am just glad that my bleeding stopped after the situation with Sammy where it was attached low and didn't want to stop bleeding. And I am even more glad that I didn't have to deliver it in the car with Gwen.=)
Love ya!
