An Announcement

Just wanted everyone to know that I know that I'm a lazy blogger. And my kids don't like me sitting at a computer, so I try to avoid doing it when they're awake. And I've been using their naptime for other important things (although if you asked me what I've gotten done in the past month, I'm not sure I could tell you...)

A smattering of items completed during the blogging hiatus which probably touches ~2.3% of things actually done:

1. Completed cloth napkins for a wedding gift.

2. Acquired at least at year's worth of shampoo, soap, razors, and other things for next to nothing with her coupon craziness (a pity for CVS who Teralee will almost single-handedly run out of business in short order).

3. Kept two very active, attention-intensive children clean, happy, clothed, enlightened, and healthy.

4. Gone running most days (while this may seem like a personal thing, it is actually a service to the rest of the family in so many ways).

5. Entertained her parents and brother during a visit to AZ.

6. Gotten to church on time for sacrament weekly.

7. Written in her journal every day.

8. Made dinner for a friend that's struggling.

9. Was a doula.

10. Managed household finances, bills, cut hair, shopped, washed, cleaned the house, cooked (eek!), wrote thank you notes, advised, counseled, supported, taught, and may have even laughed at one of my jokes.

This one who claims to have done so little, is who makes our house a home...

it's amazing how the things we do sometimes don't seem much like anything...but when we really look at it, maybe they are important afterall. i am jealous you can coupon...it is next to impossible here. i dream of couponing again...maybe soon, we are done with school in 3 weeks YEAH! good to see you are still alive and being productive as usual!! happy holidays!!

The exact reason why I don't have a blog (or only had one for about a week that I never told anyone about then deleted it), is because I KNOW I would be a lazy blogger. Or worse, my personal journal would suffer. I just don't have time! And since you have two young kids too, I know you're not just sitting around all day! :)
