Pip's birthweight (7 lb. 9 oz.) was pretty average, but his weight gain since birth has been exceptional--four pounds in four weeks, putting him in the 95th percentile. Way to go, mother's milk!! We're kind of hoping it tapers off...I don't really want a 60-pound one-year-old!
So sleepy during the day...

The first thing I noticed after he was born were these two cowlicks--one on his right side and the whirlpool in the middle of his forehead

We also noticed that he got his dad's hairline. I hope all of our kids get their dad's eyelashes too.

There he is, snuggled up in his manly butterfly blanket in his manly pink bassinet

Squeak LOVES the new baby. I just have to make sure she doesn't hug too hard.

I'm glad Pip is thriving well. It is so cute how Squeak loves her little brother so much. He really is a handsom little guy.
Well I have been meaning to say congratulations for a long time. He is beautiful. I am so excited for you and it sounds like you have all under control

Thanks, Jules. We think he's pretty cute too (D says that's why they survive despite the sleep-deprivation they cause--because they're so cute).
Shirlyn, glad to know you're alive and well! I'm amazed that it seems as though I have everything under control. Come hang out sometime and you'll see how "under control" things are not!! (I know, you don't want to leave your land of snow for the land of sun, but I just thought I'd offer...)
Those pictures are adorable! I especially love the daddy and son one!
Thanks for sharing your updates!
Your boy is so handsome! He looks very healthy and robust.
