Postpartum fallout--when will it ever end??
So I had a baby six months ago and I'm still losing hair. What's up? Am I going to go bald? I get handfuls of hair in my comb every time I shower. It's all over my pillow and sheets. It's all over the carpet. It's wrapped around my kid's hands every time she scoots across the floor. YUCK!! I wish I had chopped off ten inches and donated it to Locks of Love back in June, when my hair was long and thick and healthy. If anyone has a word of advice on how to make this "phase" end, I welcome your comments!

Just wait until you stop taking prenatals! That's when mine really started falling out... :)
OH!! Prenatal vitamins?? I stopped taking those months ago. Maybe I should start again. Thanks!
I'm right there with you ... I think I officially shed more than our dog does. And the bare spots around my temple that show when my hair's pulled back ... those are really pretty.
Just know that it comes back. I donated mine right after Gideon was born so I could donate a nice thick ponytail--but seriously, it grows back. At least mine did. The vitamins help, and stop pulling and chewing on your hair all the time!!!
I feel pretty
Oh, so pretty!
I feel pretty,
and witty, and bright!
And I pity
any girl that isn't me tonight!
I'd like to report that my hair loss has slowed significantly, probably due to several factors: I got a trim (4 inches or so) so my hair isn't so snarly, I started taking vitamins again, and maybe my scalp is just tired of dropping hair.
Yippeeeeee!
